If your shower control is leaking, the shower head is dripping or you have lost control of the temperature then you will need a new cartridge

You need to remove the On/Off Control and Temperature Control to see the colour of the ring the cartridge screws are set into.

The temperature control for the 605 Thermostatic is shown below, the control for the 405 Manual has no numbers on it just red/blue
