SHOWER PRODUCTS
We supply almost the full range of Aqualisa showers and shower spares. Aqualisa products are divided into ranges and groups as follows:
Thermostatic Mixer Showers
Aqualisa Thermostatic mixer showers are based upon Aqualisa's proven bi-metallic technology ensuring rapid and reliable temperature control. The latest styles are Quartz Thermo and Axis Thermo. Quartz Thermo showers come with Varispray sliderail or fixed head shower kits allowing 3 spray functions. Axis Thermo showers have only a single spray pattern but can also be used with as ceiling mounted either flush or with an arm.
Aqualisa is reknown for it Aquavalve 609 and Aquavalve 700 shower controls. The Aquavalve 609 shower is only available for concealed installation, whereas the 700 shower style is available for either concealed or exposed fitting. Both Aquavalve models can be mix and matched to either Varispray or Turbostream slide rail shower kits or fixed head showers. Aqualisa Aquarian is available where exposed installation is required. 609 and Aquarian models are also available in white finish.
Finally there are the Aqualisa Aquatique style showers which are traditionally styled and available in either chrome or gold finish.
Digital Showers
Aqualisa were the first to provide digital showering where the water is mixed in a processor located away from the shower enclosure. The low voltage electronic controls indicate when your shower is ready and may be used with a wired (or wireless) remote control allowing the shower to be turned on or off without being in the enclosure. Aqualisa Quartz Digital was the very first digital shower in the UK and is still the most popular being suppied with 3 function Varispray handsets or headsets. Aqualisa Axis Digital showers are a more modern style design and come with Axis single function shower heads and handsets. Aqualisa Visage Digital showers are the most economical digital showers available.
Digital showers have an advantage that the mixed water can be delivered from the wall or direct from the ceiling and down the slider rail minimising damage to existing. Digital showers come with separate models suiting water systems which are already pressurised (eg combi-boilers, unvented systems like Megaflow or where a pump is already in use) or alternative models for low pressure gravity systems (ie tank in the loft) where the digital processor includes its own built in pump.
Aqalisa do provide other styles of digital shower (eg iLux) however these are not generally available for sale online.
Power Showers
Aqualisa Aquastream power showers come with their own inbuilt pump and provide a fast and compact solution to adding a power shower into an existing gravity fed water system. These showers require both hot and cold water supplies.
Electric showers
Aqualisa Quartz Electric showers provide good value solutions where a shower is required to heat it own water.
The previous Aquastyle electric showers have now been discontinued but spares are still available.
Shower pumps
Aqualisa now have a limited range of pumps made for them by Stuart Turner and these are provided under the Aqualisa MACH brand name.
Spares & Accesssories
Aqualisa are well know for continuing to provide spares for older model showers and we stock the most popular items for rapid delivery. These include Classic Aquavalve 200 manual and 400 thermostatic, Aquamixa, Aquavalve 600 thermostatic and 430 manual, Aquatique, Aquavalve 700, Aquavalve 606 thermostatic and 405 manual, Aquarian, Aquavalve 609 thermostatic and 409 manual, Axis Thermo, Aquastream, Quartz digital, Aquastyle, Axis Digital, Hydramax, Gainsborough and Opto.
The technology used in Aqualisa cartridges is subject to metal fatigue after repeated use. Consequently cartridges do eventually need to be replaced. If you have lost control of the water temperature or your shower is leaking from the controls or shower head then it is usually the cartridge at fault. Most built in cartridges are colour coded with an inset ring where the temperature lever connects on. The most popular cartridges are:

Replacement cartridges come with gaskets, 'O' rings and fixing screws
Installation Guides & Warranty
For many models the installation guides are available electronically within the Trade Section of the Aqualisa web site www.aqualisa.co.uk. All Aqualisa spares are guaranteed for 2 years, the original shower guarantees vary depending upon model from 1 to 5 years.
